Did you know that the feng shui energies change yearly usually on February 4th?
Fire colors may lead to potentially unpleasant events and mishaps when they are in the places that are listed below. To be on the safer side... it best to avoid them for a better year.

Why February 4th in 2026?
It is the exact midpoint between the winter solstice and spring equinox.

Avoid Fire Colors
Northwest and South from the center of your home.

Fire Colors are Red, Purple, Maroon, Burgundy, Pink, Lavender, and all shades of Red and Purple including Reddish-Orange.
WHY NO FIRE COLORS?
Challenges could potentially
have an unpleasant effect on
finances, relationships, and health.

2. Northwest is the grey color in the bottom right corner section on the book cover diagram above.
Please note that South is in the center top with North at the bottom center. A precise MAGNETIC compass reading is used to find the directions. The direction on maps is true North. Avoid using this. Use the magnetic compass reading.

Steps
Make a floor plan that is to-scale so that it is accurate.
Divide it up into the 9 sector tic-tac-toe grid as seen the the picture below.
Find out what the magnetic compass direction reading is so you can label the 8 feng shui directions.
Remove FIRE COLORS from the Nowthwest and South areas.
NO FIRE COLORS WHERE THE RED X's are February 4, 2026 to February 4, 2027
How to Diagram Your Space
Make a floor plan of your whole home, apartment, or your portion of a duplex.
For your office or workplace outside of the home: diagram the floor plan of the area that your company is using.

Key: Other areas could potentially benefit from Fire Colored decor. Or on the other hand one might experience challenging issues when Fire Colors are present. It depends on the specific innate magnetic-like energy properties of the building. These were set in motion when the home was constructed. Mathematical calculations determine this for a Feng Shui consultation. (It is not a one-size-fits all.)
Please remember generally for the FIRE COLORS to have a potentially challenging effect, one must spend an hour or so a day in the tic-tac-toe grid location of the home's sectors. 2026: Northwest and South.
Key: Door areas are an exception Avoid Red and Fire Colors at entrances that are used regularly, that are located in the Northwest and South February 4, 2026 through February 4, 2027.
KEY: Your Northwest and South could be in any of the sectors depending on your home's magnetic compass direction. (Classical Feng Shui does Not use right hand corner, left hand corner, etc... to find the sector.)
